just finished reading an advanced copy of the memoir by Ron Stallworth. he's not the most compelling writer but the absurdity of the story itself makes the book a worthwhile, thought-provoking read.

the movie definitely has a lot more style, swagger and drama - totally looking forward to it.

 

Very excited for this. Reviews are super strong.

 

My theater is getting Slenderman instead of this and I don't even know what to say about that decision

 

Probably won't have a chance until next week, but I'm really excited to see this.

 

They have two showings tonight, so i might go to one depending how I feel after work. If not, definitely tomorrow.

 

Girlfriend and I are gonna try and see it tomorrow night if it isn’t blacked out on MoviePass.

 

Anyone know if there's a wider release planned after this weekend?

John was terrific and has a different enough vibe from his dad, Denzel, that it wasn't surprising and Adam Driver is great too in a subtler way too, Topher Grace as David Duke was inspired casting
