Blackberry (2023, Matt Johnson) Movie

This was so awesome and officially GOAT electrical engineering movie

 

Matt Johnson rules. I can't wait to see this.

This was so good. Hope Matt Johnson becomes a household name.

 

It’s crazy to watch Matt go from “Nirvanna The Band The Show” to a dramatic comedy and nail it.

 

This was awesome. I feel like I got lucky that my theater even got a showing, just happened to check on a bored whim. Glen Howerton had such a strong, fierce presence on screen. Also shocked to see ProZD show up. Matt Johnson is great, I’ve always said NTBTS is the most underrated show I’ve ever seen.

 

I watched The Dirties back in high school and it really stuck with me despite only seeing it once. I’m excited to see this.

I thought it was a shirt for something else lol, he's mostly wearing movie and pop culture shirts so I figured it was a movie or something called Alesana that the band was named after (and I also thought they were Canadian but I guess that's also not true)

Yeah this was wicked. Really loved seeing Glenn in a more dramatic role, he nailed it.

 

Yeah, this was a lot of fun. “I’m going back to fucking Waterloo, where the vampires hang out!” Might be the hardest laugh I’ve had from a movie this year

 

Gave it a watch on Monday - always a bit weird to see a character curse after seeing them on basic cable for so long, but Glenn was perfect for the role. Kind of reminded me of a Halt and Catch Fire, except... real.

 

This was really really solid. Maybe not social network level but fairly close. Great, perfect cast. Well made. Entertaining. Interesting.
