this band invented like 80% of all metal riffs (& probably metal) we discussed the greatest metal band of all times in the Metal Thread & I think most people agreed the title belongs to Sabbath legends
The main riff in Electric Funeral is downright evil. And the middle section I’m a sucker for guitarists playing the vocal melody.
Surprised nobody’s posted about it, but imo Ozzy’s 3 singles from his upcoming album are his best solo material in a long time. I’m actually stoked to hear the full album next month!
weird. i saw someone tweet it out and didn’t look it up lol. and then the band also emailed about new merch for the anniversary.
weird. could just be that the band wanted to wait to celebrate the 50th anniversary or whatever... these anniversary tours/merch never line up exactly with the release date, but it's close enough. just threw me off bc I was like "didn't I just see something about the 50th anniversary of this album a few months back??"
Listening to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath today. I've loved the first five albums. I need to do a deep dive on them and get into the later stuff. I've really liked some of the Dio stuff I've heard too
