with all the multiverse stuff happening they can cast a different tchalla. like its tchalla but its not ~our~ tchalla so technically chadwick has not been recast.

 

Isn't Shuri even canonically black panther in some of the comics? If they intend to keep the character, why would they go with anyone else for the role?

Yeah right lol I don’t see Marvel ditching an actress because she is antivaxx. Not believing anything that huge unless it’s from variety or Hollywood reporter

 

It would be a smart move right now. With so many people being hesitant of the vaccine (unfortunately), having the star of a blockbuster movie being against it…isn’t good.

 

I can guarantee them replacing her would encourage 0 people to get the vaccine. It’s not like she is going to be promoting antivaxx stuff while promoting BP2.Hollywood reporter said last November that Letitia had been given a bigger role, which was months after her antivaxx interview. I don’t see Marvel backtracking and ditching her when nothing else has happened since.

Edit: Variety posted this the same day they announced Michaela joined the cast.
