accountability is important but also like, the world is shit. And in the grand scheme of things, I feel like it’s okay for people to find one small part of it they can enjoy without feeling bad because one person involved in making that thing has done some shitty things

Beautiful trailer. Hopefully it doesn't get bogged down by too much CGI messiness, because it looks great so far.

 

Trailer does indeed make the film look like a massive improvement to both MOM and LAT. Excited for phase 4 to end on it.

 

the final fight in black panther 1 is still peak MCU CGI incoherence. coogler isn’t immune to that.

 

Curious as to what James Cameron makes of this sequel to a massive blockbuster that deals heavily with a plot surrounding people that live in the water…a month before his own film releases.

It’s a massive blockbuster that shares some similar concepts. I’m sure he sees an inconvenience in it being released one month before his own film.

 

Actually, I agree with Sean, but that's because I feel Cameron operates on a different wavelength than our normal reality. He has no time for the minor squabbles of puny mortals.

Cameron likes film just like all of us. I’m sure he keeps up to date with releases and what major studios are doing.

I’m willing to bet he has watched some MCU films.

 

I just, respectfully, dont think JC would be worried one bit about the highly anticipated for the last decade release of the sequel to the biggest grossing box office film of all time being released a month after black panther 2. thats all.

 

I was gonna see avatar 2 but I did just see a movie that somewhat took place in water 2 months ago so I’m probably not going to now.

 

cameron’s gonna be cashing checks lol why are yall so weird, it’s the sequel ten years after the biggest movie of all time

 

Just stating that it is an inconvenience that Avatar 2 is finally releasing after so many delays and now the sequel to Black Panther is carrying a lot of the same concepts and imagery one month before Avatar 2’s release.

I don’t think Cameron would be upset, more just a chuckle and an “of course” under his breath.

 

Movies with similarly imagery generally never happen around the same time.
