Yep only one I couldn't get through.

I don't think there was any incredible episodes this season but a few good ones.

Common People > Eulogy > USS Callister >> Bete Noire >> Plaything >>>>> Hotel Reverie

 

I am glad that the consensus from many I am seeing is that Issa Rae's acting was really bad and she felt miscast. Felt weird in contrast to how great Corrin was

 

Still haven’t come back to that episode but she was 100% miscast. Feels like she’s in an entirely different episode when she’s acting opposite of Corrin.

 

Eulogy is probably a top 5 black mirror episode

 

Yep. Most of the buzz is going to Common People because of how Black Mirror-ey it is, but Eulogy is a work of art. Beautiful episode.

 

Into infinity was so much better than the first one.

 

Watching Hotel Reverie right now and yeah... this is not good.

 

I didn't care for it. It falls down on my ranking the more I think of it. Still dislike Bete Noire more.

 

Loved Eulogy, agree it might be the best. Really liked Common People and Plaything (After re-watching/playing Bandersnatch). I did also like Bete Noire but I might agree it’s the weakest of the season so far. Got Hotel Reverie next and want to rewatch USS Callister before it’s sequel: Into Infinity.

 

I’m only 2 in but i thought bete noire was way better than common people. The latter felt so obvious and similar to past black mirror material

 

Another thing about Hotel Reverie is that it just felt like they were trying way too hard to recreate the magic of San Junipero and it fell flat .

 

Honestly probably never going to finish that episode. I still have over half of it left and I was so bored.

 

I KNEW IT. When I watched I was like “the hat did say Bernie’s”

 

Eulogy gave me the same level of feels as the one episode of the Last of Us from season 1

 

glad to hear that. I still have Plaything, Eulogy and Calister left and was feeling pretty down about getting right back to these after Hotel Reverie

 

I watched some of season one of this show, and randomly caught episode one of season three when it aired, but I’d never actually really paid this show much attention.

Someone recommended the White Christmas episode to me and I watched it tonight. What. The. Fuck. Really enjoyed it, even if a couple of the little twists were pretty guessable. Didn’t see that ”big” one coming though.

I guess I need to watch this show? What are the other “best” episodes?

 

Ok the way all of you guys feel about Hotel Reverie, that’s how I’m feeling about Plaything like halfway through. This episode is BAD lol.

Be Right Back, White Bear, Shut Up and Dance, San Junipero, and Metalhead were always my top 5

 

Oh man i forgot about metalhead. Only watched once but it was so good

 

People hated it at the time because it wasn't as Black Mirrorish as people were used to but I loved it. Very 80's James Cameron sci-fi horror vibes.

 

I'd have to revisit most of them to give a fair ranking but pretty much the British seasons > the Netflix stuff

 

Metalhead was the last episode of this show that grabbed me, been a pretty big skid since then

 

Brooker kinda lost the plot in seasons 5 & 6, but he let out at least 3 return to form bangers in this one.

 

Just finished Shut Up And Dance, and even though I saw the twist it’s kids coming, holy fuck that was depressing.
