Jodie Whittaker's time as the Doctor has come and gone and I've yet to revisit her Black Mirror episode, but I remember it being devastating

 

LOL that Mazey Day episode. I guess if it deserves any credit I definitely wasn't expecting that.

 

Demon79 is in the same vein but intros as a "Red Mirror" episode so idk what to think of it. It was good, but it and Mazey are the two most non-BM episodes of the series

 

Of the multitude of ideas that circulated around the Black Mirror writers' room over the course of S6's development, how in the blistering Christ was Mazey Day in the top 5? How is it even possible that nobody had a better pitch? That was one of the most dumbfounding things I've ever seen in my entire life.

 

Easily my favourite episode of the show.

 

Joan Is Awful wasn't very clever, but it was very fun and had a great cast

Cast Rob Delaney in more things!

 

Goddamn this Aaron Paul one is a whole ass 80 minute long feature length film.

 

And it did not need to be at all

 

Basically one good episode this season, episode 2.

 

Did not realize Jesse Armstrong (of Succession) wrote Entire History of You. Explains why that’s the best episode!

 

I love that episode. The lead actor in that is also excellent in the even more excellent show Servant.

 

Very fun episode

 

Jesse Armstrong was also a writer on The Thick of It which is one of the funniest British political comedies ever. essential viewing

 

I loved the third episode. Maybe a little long but it mostly really worked for me.

 

Joan Is Awful in a way kind of reminded me of Nosedive just in terms of tone.

 

Rory Culkin just stuck being typecast as cult members.

 

I liked it but it easily could have been 20 minutes shorter.

 

Didn't mind Joan but it kind of falls apart at the end, idk. Eh

 

Reality heard a new BM season just dropped

 

Through 3 eps, and I've liked them all. Not sure how to feel about the ending of 3, but it's always nice to see Josh Hartnett.

 

Middle aged Josh Hartnett is looking good

 

Starting Mazey Day. Weird that we are now entering the era where it has been long enough where things can inexplicably set in the 2000's as period piece.

 

I would like to know what kind of experimental research chemicals Charlie Brooker was on when he pitched "Nightcrawler but with a Werewolf"

 

I was about to start the new season but realized I for some reason never watched Striking Vipers, so I put that on, noticed it's queer undertones, got about halfway through, and... didn't like it? I know I haven't even finished it yet but it just feels like a cishet person writing a queer story.

(Also I'm having trouble staying focused, I think I might have some sort of adhd)

 

Is that the one with the rating app? Because that's exactly the one I was reminded of when watching
