Starting USS Callister now. A buddy told me to start with Metalhead (it’s his favorite), but it seems to be a not popular episode.
Metalhead was a very cool episode, but it didn't really connect with me like other episodes do and was a bit too straightforward.
USS Callister fucking ruled. Jesse Plemons rules. Also, the Aaron Paul voice cameo at the end was fucking awesome.
Sort of how it felt to me. Didn't feel like Black Mirror at all. I didn't dislike it really but it had no depth to it. Actually most of the season wasn't as deep to me. And it felt more predictable. Callister DJ Arkangel Crocodile Metalhead Black Museum Museum was just too goofy for me
S4 was a touch disappointing. I feel like they're kind of running out of ideas specifically re technology. A lot of rehashes despite new settings. As far as rankings go: Black Museum The short stories in this episode were more interesting conceptually, and just plot-wise, then a bunch of the actual episodes this season USS Callister / Hang the DJ Arkangel Metalhead Crocodile
I thought the season was good. Black Museum was such an interesting concept and its story telling throughout the episode is up there with white Christmas for me. I enjoyed metalhead a lot, the suspense was pretty amazing and the minimal details and dialogue helped that. I don’t know if I have a least favorite or favorite for the season.
Yeah it's a well documented fact that there's an inversely proportional relationship between aversion to spoilers and age.
the rankings I see for this season are all over the place haha. Some people say Black Museum is their favorite, others hate it. (I still haven't gotten to it)
I deff liked Hang the DJ a lot but I have to say I'm surprised at the mixed reaction to Black Museum. I actually quite liked that one a lot, I don't know why so many people weren't feeling it.
