Glad there's finally a BCNR song with Georgia singing. Man I'm really looking forward to their next studio album.

Feel like this release kinda got lost in the shuffle. I still like it a lot.

  4. I like it, but it didn't have a lot of replay value for me outside of the opening track unfortunately

I was waiting to see if they were going to make a studio recording but since it looks like they won't I've been listening to it a lot recently and I love it. I can't wait to see what they do next.

fuck man what a show. seeing Charlie go insane on his drums at the end of Turbines was legitimately spiritual shit, everyone was in awe

couple other thoughts, most of the first half of the set was new stuff which I didn't expect. a lot more folky almost Joanna Newsom style geared towards May and Georgia singing, although they all sing a lot of counterpoint harmonies on the new stuff together. Tyler's one new song which starts with Charlie playing banjo is unbelievably good. very winding song structures, not as instantly catchy as a lot of the Bush Hall stuff

seeing it live I've come around to May having my favourite voice in the band. at one point she was doing borderline operatic vocals, playing piano and accordion at the same time which was just insane lol. still think Tyler's the best writer of the bunch but they're all so talented lol. plus Lewis's voice has come a long way and the crowd loved Across the Pond Friend, it's such a good crowd song

Yeah I love May's voice so much and Lewis has grown on me a lot after listening to Bush Hall so much even if he is still easily my least favourite.

I'm very excited to hear what they do next.
