Second Leg of the tour announced - hitting a venue close to me! Pumped to catch them for the first time
I added Too Late after Emptyhanded (I always felt like Miss Me killed the momentum too fast) and The End in between All Gas and Blindsided, then put the two previously released tracks at the end like true bonus tracks. I really like the way it flows.
Delighted to see UK dates for early next year, didn't expect this so soon given they are supporting Sleep Token here at the end of Nov.
They have now sold out a few upcoming UK dates which are still 4 months away, including my own, which for reference was the same hall that Thrice played for their AITA 20th anniversary show. Really good news for the guys and gal.
My buddy has been trying to get me into Bilmuri for awhile, and I think it’s finally worked - lots to love about American Motor Sports and the way he blends genres However, I heard an older track called Muscle Bound Denizen and am IN LOVE with that vibe of music - which album(s) or tracks of his should I zero in on for more like that?
The whole project that song is from called Goblin Hours is more in that style… it’s one of my favorites also
My wrapped doesn't even make sense this year. I feel like they punished me because I had to give up premium a few months ago.
After getting tickets to see him next year and all the spotify wrapped stuff coming out, I decided to do a discog run. I had not heard anything prior to taco, so I started back with Jaguar Shark. The first four projects (I'm calling them the Sketch Albums - Jaguar Shark, Bilmuri, Letters, and Frame) had some highlights, but it truly is such a different approach. He's incredibly talented and none of it is bad, it all just seems so much more self serious compared to his later stuff. Banana seems to be a bit of a turning point for him having more fun and I really enjoy it. I'm probably gonna spin these songs for a while before moving on to Solid Chub.
I'm really liking Goblin Hours, it's got enough of what I loved about this record while still being different enough to feel fresh.
This is a fucking BLAST!!!! I’m jamming hard enough in my living room..couldn’t imagine the energy there. I love this band so, so much.
Go backwards if you want slightly less country. The new album leaned the heaviest into it. But it’s all good. So enjoy!
