I’m not going to sit here and say this band is like, gods gift to music, or anything. But they kinda are in my book lol! I continue to expand and find new artists every year that I enjoy, but it’s rare that something completely takes over my speakers. Bilmuri did just that, and more. Their sound hits all the right notes for me at this point in my life. Plus, my daughter absolutely LOVES American Motor Sports.
AMS was some of the best pop music from last year. It’s very very good and deserving of the praise. I’m going to the Long Island show next weekend and I’m beyond excited. Missed the NYC one due to the birth of my child lol
Watching the show finally because I’m not going - Franck must keep this lineup for the next cycle. They’re all so great
Finally got around to watching that show. Incredible performance by everyone! Not sure if the drummer is in another band but he’s insane
seriously - the energy they all have is so infectious and positive. so very excited for whatever comes next.
For sure! And despite how much of a bit and silly the band name, song titles, aesthetic, etc. is they all seem super genuine and grateful
Glad so many of y'all love this, but I tried listening to it again this afternoon and just cannot get into it at all. I made it up to that "HUH" about 45 seconds into "Better Hell" after the first chorus and had to turn it off.
Maybe you’d like the live version better? But it’s not for everyone I guess lol. I personally love the metalcore/happycore/country mashup
That’s fair. It’s definitely different. There’s something about it that hits just right for me for some reason.
Yeah, I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum. I know plenty of people whose tastes I generally vibe with that love it, but it just doesn't work for me.
They were a force tonight. So clean and tight (insert Bilmuri joke here)! But forreal, hearing some of this stuff live really popped for me. I liked The End a ton but hearing it live made me LOVE it. I hope Gabby never ever leaves
Had to sell my ticket to a UK show at the end of March due to a family holiday. It was a sold out gig at a 1k cap (i didn't realise it was that big) and has recently been upgraded to a 2k venue. What an achievement. I'll catch them next time.
Saw them in Kentish Town last night and they were ridiculously good. It was an upgraded venue and a complete sell out. The crowd were great and Johnny and the band looked like they were having the best time up there.
