So for these spinoffs, any guess which characters they will focus on? I think the natural choices are the the young analysts on Taylor's team like Ryan get their own show, and Kate Sacker gets her own show.
Any recommendations for similar TV shows to this? Already watched succession/Suits/white collar, which i enjoyed them all.
I didn't get too far into it but the HBO/BBC series Industry is very similar in setting and tone to this. Currently on Max.
Lmao this sitcom ass ending. If they did the "Nobody goes to jail. Everyone stays rich. All the main characters are content. Everyone is pretty much back to where they were at the start" ending with any bit of satire or wink at the camera that would fine. But they way they did it seemed 100% sincere.
I really enjoyed this show. I think Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti have been perhaps my favorite leads in a show for a good while. However, I would be lying if I said this was 7 perfect seasons. I don't think it dived as badly as other shows I've watched, but it became more like I "like the characters" than I like "the story" towards the end. The last episode pretty much seems to have left it right back at day 0 for the storylines to recycle itself. My person highlight was a pretty boring line, but delivered perfectly by wags; "COFFEE!!!". He just shouts it mentally when Sacker requests a coffee to Boby's private chef. I need to check out the show industry mentioned above, but as sad as it sounds I love shows like this and feel like with it and Succession ending, there doesn't seem to be much to fill the void. Admittedly, ive not really actively looked either.
