So happy for her to have that level of success right now when it’s so tough to break through for anyone not named Taylor Swift. You never know if some of these new artists are here for the long haul, but it seems like she’s solidified a space for herself.
I get what that tweet is saying and agree but I highly doubt he is thinking about that individual writer as much as he is thinking about Pitchfork as a whole, and in his defense, Pitchfork does suck
After much thought and contemplation, I’ve decided that all of “L’Amour De Ma Vie” is good, not just the dance part.
Also interesting, in their Zane Lowe interview she said: Finneas was like ‘We’re not putting that on the album…’ Just put it at the end of something, that is completely different, and just have it be a little secret at the end and not put it out as its own thing. What’s funny is, It feels like it’s part of ‘L'AMOUR,’ but it’s completely not. It’s about a completely different thing… We made the original one in October, and then we rewrote it over a year later.

I gotta say, aside from "The Greatest" (which I do think is one of her weaker songs), this album just keeps getting better to me. Picked up the Sea Blue vinyl.
