I'm getting Hayley Williams vibes on The Greatest's climax, something about her voice when she belts reminds me of her Billie is one of those few mainstream artists I've always been fascinated by more than I loved or listened to her music but this one feels so much more immediate. Love how layered the full thing is and how the songs seem to evolve as they go. Makes for quite the immersive listen
I like this a lot on first listen. It took me a bit to get into Happier Than Ever, this is a little more immediate. But I think it’ll still be a grower.
I’m seeing posts about whether there’s another album on the way cus of her saying “when can I hear the next one” at the end but honestly I think she’s making a statement there, not teasing anything.
It's definitely a jab at her audience, I'd eat my shoe if she released a second part to this or whatever. Part of it's appeal to me is how succinct it is
I found myself thinking Hayley at multiple points, even in the early parts of the album. Quite a compliment.
I wasn't looking at the song titles most of my listen so cant pinpoint the exact tracks, but there were definitely multiple moments on this album where I got Hayley vibes.
The more I listen to Lunch it’s giving me “Only” by NIN vibes but with pop sheen. Amazing track, tragic video lol.
This did not click with me at all on first listen, hoping I hear what everyone else is on subsequent visits.
Yeah, feel same about the video, but then again, I'm not sure what the video could've been. Definitely couldn't make a video with a literal interpretation of the lyrics LOL.
Not really grabbing me on first listen (although the last minute or two of Lunch was great), but none of her albums did at first. He albums are definitely growers.
