She said she didn’t want to do long-ass shows, so I guess half the set being shortened songs is a fitting compromise.
Listening to this today. Had ZERO IDEA there was current #1 song on Top 40 radio from it (pretty much the only radio format that still moves the needle).
Been listening to this a ton again since I'm seeing her on Wednesday, and man it's still so good. Definitely top 5 for me this year, and pretty comfortably my favorite album from her. I saw the runtime today and it's like 45 minutes? I seriously thought it was only like 35, it just flies by.
I was wondering why no one had made the ultimate L'amour de ma vie version with the full over it remix included, then realized I can do just do it myself. If anyone wants the extended extended version, here ya go! It's 8:17 long lamour de ma vie over now extended.mp3 | Powered by Box
i know she made it shortly after the album, but i agree. if those second album rumors turn out to be true (probably not), i'd love for her to combine both albums and throw in the whole extended song on the first half.
I'll bite, what are the second album rumors? Lol this is pretty easily my favorite "pop" release of the year and the only one in my top 10. Sabrina Carpenter would make my top 20, though.
apparently when asked about why the album ends with a clip of her saying "but when can i hear the next one?" she's been coy to give any details as to what that means (except to Zane Lowe, i guess?). there have been other bits throughout the album cycle from her and others on her team supposedly hinting that there might be more music down the line, some amounting to "i can't talk about that" and others amounting to Swiftie-level Easter egg delusion. idk if any of it is true.
Yeah, I thought that was her poking at audiences that don't take the time to consume art and let artists create anymore, but hey, I'd gladly take more music, too lol
