I don't think I understand the connection. Willow first dropped off dates a few weeks ago, Kanye said this today... what connecting are you thinking?
Over a decade later and Kanye is still bullying young female pop stars. Love to see it also I have a really hard time believe that Coachella would approve of Kanye bringing out Travis? Why does this man think he can do whatever he wants at all times
there's no way that Coachella is going to let Travis on the fields in any way shape or form, Kanye is just being a dumbass
Because he literally can (Which I don't mean with support, I just mean he never faces any real consequences.)
He literally posts something absurd and everyone just regurgitates it back verbatim without criticism
Really loved her show last night. The quiet vocals thing was noticeable at times, depending on the song, but not that bad. It’s a fairly common problem for shows in general…when I saw Thursday a few weeks ago I literally could not hear the vocals at all for most of it. Billie’s entrance is so fun, I recommend checking out a YouTube vid if you’re not catching the tour. she also handed out Valentine’s which was cute
Saw Billie last night and wow what a show! She and Finneas were really great. Adorable thing: I was on line for the bathroom during the opener and the teenage girls behind me were rushing their friend because they were sure Billie was going to come on the second the opener ended. It was like 7:50. They were so relieved when I told them that there would be like 30-45 minutes in between and that Billie was not coming on for at least an hour. I actually felt good about being an old ass concert veteran then hahaha I didn’t find the quiet vocals thing to be a problem. To be fair, my show was announced three weeks ago so the venue was not sold out. But honestly it seems like it might be less about the mixing and more about her fans being really, really loud.
Well i am now fully obsessed with this record after her show this past Saturday. Being on the floor and hearing the HTE tracks at max volume with everything cranked up gave this album a second wind for me. Can't get Lost Cause out of my head lol
Just realized she isn't playing my future on this tour. Pretty bummed about that tbh (but still really excited to see her of course)
I'm going to watch her Coachella set from pretty far back, never came around to this album at all and not really excited to hear most of it live :/
It might be a tough choice for me at Coachella if there's a big conflict (Disclosure comes to mind). I may have to split my time. It'll also depend on how much I enjoy the show here in two weeks. But regardless, I'm very hyped to finally have the chance to see her this year, however many times that ends up being.
I'm not sure what I expected from her but it surpassed my expectations. The production was so cool and she sounded really good. Only a few times the crowd really drowned her (places you'd expect like the end of Happier Than Ever)
Song dropped 2/13/20. Music video dropped 10/1/20. It won the Grammy this time last year…six months before the film finally was released. It’s been a wild ride for sure.
