Easily the best album of the year.

 

Ehhhh. I like this album quite a bit but there are a handful of albums from this year I would rank higher.

 

It's top 10 for me

 

It's my aoty so far

 

Probably top 50 for me

 

I love it, but this year has been absolutely stacked for me in terms of albums I love. I could see it in the lower half of my top 10.

 

I reallyyyy want to see the new songs live, but my experience seeing her on the last arena tour was pretty bad. The crowd overpowered her vocals and they seemed really low in the mix, she was especially out of breath on the uptempo tracks.

The vids from Gov Ball, Life Is Beautiful and Firefly seems to indicate this is still an issue. There has to be a way for her sound team to overcome this right?

 

Pretty much this. I do really like this album and it will likely land in my top 20 somewhere but I don’t think it’s “easily” AOTY when we’ve gotten some strong contenders from other artists this year.

 

It took me a while but I really have warmed up to the album as a whole. It’s been getting a lot of plays at work over the past week.

 

Ok first off, wow that she's doing double duty, but also, CHARLI?????;!!!!!!!

 

Holy shit. Billie pulling double duty is sick, but Charli performing on SNL?! On the Christmas episode?! It makes me so happy to see her finally finding big success these past couple of years.

 

I still love this album, I wish the tour wasn’t for another four months

There are a handful of songs on this that I play a lot and many that I don’t play / skip / don’t have on playlists but I still think the opening three lines of the closer are the most accurate lyrics I’ve heard all year if not in many years.

Distract myself with pornography”

 

This album is def in my top 10 for the year
