Oof, people do not like this concept at all (and I agree, it’s just paint on the album and they’re marketing it as something special)
I mean, it's $10 (presumably the same price as a normal CD) for something uniquely related to the artist. No one has to buy it, it's not like she's gouging her fans lol. I think it's kind of cool.
I mean, that IS art and she created that art. Whether you like it or not doesn't diminish it being art created specifically by Billie. No one is being forced to buy it, and there are a ton of people who WILL buy it and love it.
yeah $10 isn’t that bad and I personally wouldn’t buy it, but people are really trying to tear Billie down for every little thing she does this era
Well whether fans hated it or not they sold out! And yea if her team was upcharging it to like $30+ or some shit then maybe I could see the argument but it was $10 lol
It’s wild to see NDA not do better on the charts than it has. It debuted at #39 and fell to #75 on the Hot 100 in its second week, it’ll probably be off the chart entirely next week. This is such a good track, not sure why none of these are hitting at radio? Is she being pushed to only Top 40 now? I expected to hear NDA on alt stations but nothing so far.
This is a good album, but def doesn't have any bangers on the level of Bad Guy or Bury a Friend. A lot of the production uniqueness from the first album is absent as well, but every song is good and a few are great.
this rollout has officially confused the heck out of me. going the limited press route must've been an artist ask.
I mean, there are several songs on the album that seem to allude to some very negative press moments and I think the documentary reflects a lot of that too
This album is gonna be a tough one for me... it's either going to take me a lot of listens to get into it, or I just never will. 90% of this thing is just SO downtempo, but without any exciting melodies or production choices to keep my interest. Aside from Oxytocin and OverHeated, the first... 12??? tracks are all such a similar vibe that they blend together
