It's very different. I don't think he has that same kind of Ted energy, due to probably his smoking and age. Kind of weird since Alex Winter looks so enthusiastic as Bill.
I've scene excellent adventure atleast 20 times over the last 30 years and still love it. I only saw Bogus like twice and didnt remember a thing. All you guys here made me want to rewatch it so I did today, it is pretty bad. Not even close to Excellent Advventure. Plot is just not good
I feel like this is such a niche movie that under normal circumstances it wouldn’t do that well in theaters. Given present trends, fans of the movie would be more likely to stay home and pay for it VOD
I want to see Alex Winter back in theaters because he just seems like a genuinely great dude, but I agree. This would probably do better on VOD, and it would probably kill less people.
I agree with everyone else, VOD would be just fine for such a minor movie like this. Even if this came out like normal pre Covid I dont see it making more than 9 million opening weekend and 20 total. But I'm no box office guru. Regardless, I'll be seeing this as soon as possible
Streaming debuts seem to have the potential to become a surprise hit and let chance of being seen as an embarrassing failure, if that makes sense. The level of criticism is much lower
The old ones were so bad they were actually good, so I don't have high-hopes. I just want it to be fun.
"Is Death playing Hop Scotch? By Himself?" "Dude, he's cheating!" Looks to be in very much the same spirit as the first two and I love it haha
