I'm pretty afraid of heights. I hate elevators more than most things in life and will always try to take the stairs if possible.

Same. I have an appointment 17 floors up about once a week and I take the stairs every time. It requires leaving the house much earlier

I remember someone at a sleepover party when I was young said something along the lines of "never pee into a soda can because you will cut your penis."
There was no context. He just said it.

Edit: this is my 3,000th post. This is my legacy. Wow. I need to rethink my life.

I have so many, I'm actually chucky finster.

Are we talking about things that haven't happened yet and we're afraid might? Or things that have and you're still traumatized by?

Have never really been in relationship but the thought of being in a explicitly monogamous relationship and being cheated on, especially like post-marriage. I don't know what that says about me, but I know it's not good.

-I'm afraid of the dark. And then people condescendingly tell me that I'm not afraid of the dark but I'm afraid of what's in the dark, but not really? I think it's more that I've lost control of my sense of sight. I like having full control all the time. It makes me feel vulnerable when I don't and I don't like feeling vulnerable cause then I get panicky

    -Also afraid of commitment.

-I was afraid of driving for a long time and I still don't like to. I enjoy driving down a familiar highway with my music loud, but I hate driving in unfamiliar places or crowded places. I get stressed and anxious and then make stupid mistakes that I wouldn't normally. And it sucks to have a passenger that isn't helpful. When I'm the passenger I make it a point to to be calming and reassuring. If someone makes a mistake I don't freak out or point it out, I try to help them feel at ease so they can relax and dont do it again. If they make a wrong turn it's just like "don't worry, the gps will recalculate, we'll get there." But ppl who grab onto the handle and scream and stuff or mock me when I'm feeling anxious like bye.
