Yea that song is unreal good, I hear Elliott Smith I hear nirvana, I hear something completely new

 

it’s a v good record but not change your life good imo

interesting to read the Court & Spark reference in the P4k review as I’ve been obsessed with the record as of late - maybe that set my expectations impossibly high (altho I realize the comparison was on the lyrics only)

 

Idk, not saying it’s life changing but it’s definitely special and not the kinda record that comes out super often.

Not really getting the Goodness vibes some others were talking about. I am, however, getting some Very Good vibes.

 

LP came in the mail and sounds so fucking good still. I love "Contact" so much.

I don't know if much of the writing that came out around the release got posted in here, but there's a lot of great profiles/interviews/features/reviews out there. This one is easily my favorite however. The Big Themes and Big Dreams of Big Thief

Yeah I can't stop listening to this

 

I've listened to Goodness like twice in my life and even I hear it lol

 

Parts of songs actually do sound like Goodness to me, definitely the chorus on "U.F.O.F.," although overall I think it's more of a similar essence than an actual sound mostly.

 

they are both kinda pastoral but that’s about it IMO

Has anyone said that the title track sounds like MGMT yet?

 

Has anyone said that the first 40 seconds of Strange sounds like Alex G yet?

 

I love Strange so much. The guitar is so twangy on it

 

well they are both about both the natural and the supernatural

 

The National has taken over my life these past few days but I won't let that make me forget how good this album is. I still can't believe how hard I've fallen for the reworked From.

I love the delivery of this soooooo much:

There have been a lot of really great records to come out already this year, but there can only be one best one and this is it so far
