Also, can we talk about how Big Thief with support from Palehound is the bill of the year? That Palehound album is going to be incredible, Aaron is the best song of 2K19.

I was aware of the project but not really listening until these new singles. Been going back to A Place I’ll Never Know a lot lately, but these three new songs are really on another level.

 

That bass line at the very end of “From” is sublime.

I’ve never listened to an album at a bar before but I’m sitting outside at trillium in boston listening to this and it’s kindaaaa a perfect setting somehow

 

Also it’s SO impressive to me that despite this being so stripped down it sounds nothing like her solo record

 

gotta love jamming tunes and drinking

 

I’m sure I look like a big dork in a blazer sitting with AirPods in my ears while everyone around stands and socializes but yeah tbh I’m having the time of my life right now and nobody even has a clue

One listen in, sick fucking record. They capture ambience so well, the band feels so tight, it feels so natural yet otherworldly at the same time.
