Copped the orange vinyl and the /500 glow in the dark pressing of abysskiss + placed an order for the new t shirt/hoodie/beanie in their webstore. Good day. Record is unbelievable tbh. Never expected them to pivot from two full on rock records to this naturalist folk sound. Not entirely sold on the two reworked tracks from abysskiss yet, but the rest is amazing. Opener truly jaw dropping.

 

I think From is better here and Terminal Paradise is better on abysskiss but you can't go wrong with either version of either song tbh

 

ill be talking about it all weekend!! I didn't have time to download at lunch so ill just wait until tomorrow at this point.

 

Funny, it's From that is throwing me off on this more than Terminal Paradise. I'm sure I'll warm up to both with time.

The first song on this is absolutely brilliant.

 

Haven’t heard, is orange with a full band arrangement? Their live performance of that song is one of my favorite things from them

just hit play and I'm very much for this moodier, atmospheric direction. this band is so good damn

 

that scream is beautifully unsettling

 

glad I barely listened to the singles because Contact -> From is a breathtaking run

Did not like From on first listen (probably because I’m used to the version from the solo album) but this is fantastic

 

wow this band just gets better with each release, this is a stunner

 

Ha, the new arrangement of “From” was possibly my favorite part on first listen. Love it so much.

 

I’m sure it’ll grow. It just sounded weird to me on first listen haha.

 

Yuppppp second listen and from is great haha that’s what happens I have to listen to things for the first time in a car
