Press releases haven’t said anything about an album, not ruling it out but there’s nothing official yet

 

I feel like there is an album coming. But that’s just a gut feeling. They are pretty damn prolific and I would bet if anything they have a ton of songs in the can or close. And selfishly I want an album. They have a tour coming up….it would make sense.

 

Max said they're from the new album in his stories (@pishpeshoni). For how much they recorded last year, I'm surprised they'd use two album tracks and not a b-side

 

95% of the time they release a new single, it's instantly one of my favorite big thief songs. little things definitely falls into that.

 

Listened to “Love in Mine” this morning too. What a stupid great b side.

 

"Love in Mine" is a top 3 song by this band imo

 

It would definitely rank very high for me as well. Shame it was left off of Two Hands. But at least we have it.

reminds me of early Bright Eyes tbh.

 

Jeremy Larson just compared “Little Things” to Dave Matthews Band (lovingly, maybe a little jokingly, I think?). He’s honestly not entirely wrong….definitely got some “Best of What’s Around” in it.

 

Yeah Max posted on his Instagram story these songs are on the next album. So hype for it!

Is anyone going to the show in Garden Grove tomorrow? I'm guessing they'll play a lot of new stuff

 

Looks like a quite a few new songs played last night. They’re so prolific, that even as a big fan, I have a hard time keeping up with what songs are new and what are solo reworks, loosies, new unreleased stuff. These are the ones from last night that I don’t know or I assume haven’t gotten an official release

Change and Dried Roses have been played on livestreams before, they are both new

 

Could Red Moon be what can you say?

 

Ok I just googled and have definitely heard both of these and seen the vid where Adrianne plays them solo.

 

Just listened to “Time Escaping”….that needs to make the record.

 

Sounds like “Dragon” is not “Dragon Eyes” and it sounds like it’s generating some big buzz on Reddit as being possibly the heaviest song they’ve made.

I haven’t seen any videos but Certainty is probably the song she played on a livestream with the chorus “my certainty is wild”.

 

Is Dragon heavy in the vein of Masterpiece?
