The vocal melodies in Forgotten Eyes are the most instantly infectious things I’ve heard since Hop Along’s released an album of ear worms ~1 year ago.

these two singles are def the best songs I've ever heard from them. maybe cattails comes close

(with the caveat that I still haven't listened more than once) I was surprised how much the rest of it didn't sound like Not, and how similar it was to UFOF overall. Not a complaint though.

 

title track reminds me of an awakebutstillinbed song. lol. very good

this is not only better than not but is also better than any other song ever

wolf was cool, I liked the howling section, but I'm not certain when I will recover from shoulders. I do feel like that song is cut from a similar cloth as not and an excellent lead-in

 

I think Wolf just hits that same “achingly beautiful” nerve that Mythological Beauty does and that’s why it strikes such a chord with me

 

I've never heard a full big thief album before ufof and I think I've heard that song maybe twice

 

It’s honestly one of the best songs I’ve ever heard in my life

 

when i got the seven inch with the title track on it i posted about it in the emo thread because i thought it was an emo band lol

I can’t wait till they drop 1-2 more records. Then they will join the ranks of great bands whose discography we rank over and over until the end of time. I very much look forward to this.

I’ve just put Two Hands and Ode to Joy in a playlist and looped it for the last 2 days.
