My guess? This is not the only release we see from them in the near future. That being said brevity is nice and I’m so jacked for this.

"Our new album is called Double Infinity. The first song, ‘Incomprehensible’, is out today!!! We (James, Buck, & Adrianne) spent the last couple of years gathering songs, then asked our friends to join us in bringing the songs to life, and then whittled it down to the nine in this batch. We rode our bikes through the wintery streets of Manhattan to the Power Station, bright-eyed and curious as ever to play! We played our hearts out with our friends in that room, and thankfully it was recorded. What a gift! We’re so proud and excited to be part of this and to share with you all!"

The "gathering songs" and "in this batch" definitely make me think we'll be getting more from them throughout the next year or two.

 

tune is very good and different and floaty and ethereal and makes me get why Laraaji is on this record immediately, its gonna be good

 

nvm it's up on spotify now, i love this sound for them

 

much like the recent wednesday song, the art is certainly is a choice

 

also, after an album as sprawling as dragon, i think it makes sense to put something out that's a little tighter.

And tbh we already know all the songs and they’re excellent. “Happy With You” finally getting an official release is so great.

Absolutely adore this track. Part of me hopes that with the way the song starts the album will be an infinite loop, sort of akin to Nonagon Infinity.
