DMB has two songs I love and I’m convinced I would like a lot more of their songs but I’ve just never delved in

 

I definitely get the time constraint thing. It’s definitely easier for me to say when I’m sitting on my couch and seeing them on Wednesday.

 

It’s already 9:46 so I’m guessing this is the last song, the cutoff is pretty strict

 

Before These Crowded Streets is the one for sure. I’d also check out Under the Table and Dreaming, Crash and The Lillywhite Sessions (which would become Busted Stuff).

I feel like I've heard about them having the sound issues and stopping/restarting songs for a while now. I definitely noticed it when I saw them last year.

 

just turned on the stream to catch the very end, video production value on this is wildly good

 

I mean to be fair if I went to literally Berklee I’d probably consistently have trouble with the sound at 3000 cap theaters too tbf. I just hope they keep having fun at the shows which seems like is not an issue by the end of this one

I get that Chicago loves him and all but I don’t think giving Michael Jordan a set was the right choice

 

Literally just sat there on stage and smoked a cigar wearing sunglasses while muttering about the pistons too it was a bust

Also I thought Big Thief would be my favorite set of the weekend but that so far is going to Weyes Blood, Yaya Bey, Alvvays, or Perfume Genius.

 

Unfortunately my attempted recording crashed early on. Looks like there’s already one up on dimeadozen though

Definitely some off vibes but still some great moments as well. Contact, Vampire Empire, solo Words. Max has been posting that mermaid tail a decent amount, can’t believe he wore it on stage haha

 

Man I just saw the Nelsonville Music Festival lineup for today. Didn’t know that was a thing. It’s only like 3:30 from me.

nelsonville always has some sneaky good lineups but they def snapped this year

it’s 3 hrs from me and i’ve never been either but i should probably change that in the nearish future

 

Yea it’s for sure on my radar now.

 

Was there on Saturday and would echo what everyone else already said. Their set in 2021 felt more like a headlining set than this one.

 

I wasnt in person for this one but 2021 was incredible

 

It was. They blew me away that night. They were on fire in 2021. I saw them in Indy on that tour as well a couple nights prior and had a very similar experience, though the Pitchfork set takes the cake.
