yeah this song is gorgeous. their percussion sounds are undefeated

 

hey in two weeks it's my birthday and I'll be 33

 

like the song a lot. grateful I just stuck my toe into the live versions this time around rather than wearing em out; so I wasn't expecting this to sound like anything at all. that burned me last record of theirs--I still can't listen to simulation swarm without being bummed it doesn't have the bite of when I saw it live pre-release. and of course:

Love this. And also I know they don’t care but we’re totally getting 6/9 songs before this drops lol.

 

song is really repetitive and not great imo. percussion sounds cool again tho and some really interesting atmospheric stuff happening on the periphery

A record of lopping ethereal reveries sounds nice. Seems like they have a vision for this record.

this is a great song btw.

edit: gotta say….these two songs informing each other, played back to back has me incredibly excited for what they have in store for us with this album. Love their studio work.

pretty tune really like a lot of the quiet instrumental flourishes

 

i like it! not as immediate is incomprehensible but the kind of song i'll really vibe with in the flow of the album
