the album is amazing but those are still far and beyond the two best on here the show in philly sold out today i am so excited to see them
Disagree about the Buck Meek comment. Saw them live once with out him and it felt like something was missing the entire show.
Yeah, Meek’s playing seems pretty essential to this band. Oh a related note, his new solo album is really nice, if a little slight.
Could you explain your theory about Capacity? I’m curious what you think is different about those songs from the rest of the album.

I've been aware of this band and this album but I never gave it a REAL shot until now.. Their songs keep popping up automatically on Big Red Machine and boygenuis radio so I thought I'd sit down with the lyrics... It's destroying me right now.
Yeah this blew me away. I've definitely heard "Haley" and "Mary" many times before from them randomly popping up on spotify. Have always loved Masterpiece (solo) so I guess I'm listening to Masterpiece next.
She's an incredible writer.. like super brilliant. I always liked "Mary" but it's jaw dropping in the context of the album. I haven't the closer yet because I've played it 3 times.
