I'm about halfway through but damn this is good. Perfect album for this grey + rainy day.

 

I'll put this on later today. Right now I'm spinning Masterpiece to refresh my memory on that record.

This isn't as accessible as Masterpiece was right away but it's probably better, all of these songs are great

 

the lyrics on watering tho. heartwrenching.

I went into this without listening to any of the premiered songs and only having kind of half-listened to Masterpiece, but man I really like this record. Most of the tracks haven't differentiated themselves quite yet, minus Mythological Beauty (which is one of the most gorgeous songs I've ever heard, maybe, seriously love that one so much), but I really just love the mood of the album so much.

 

"Mary" and "Black Diamonds" are really starting to hit me. I've listened to both those songs about five times each this morning.

The chorus on "Mary" . . . My god.

This is really incredible. Having a hard time listening to it a lot with the weather turning to summer though.

Just found out they're playing here in a week!

 

I finally got around to listening to this album, and it is stunning. I'm going to listen again later today with lyrics in front of me.

 

I love the way this band fucks with time signature.

 

Seeing them live really puts the leap from the debut to this album in perspective. Even Madterpiece, one of their best songs imo, sounds flat live compared to the new ones. Mary was incredible live.

 

seeing them in october. gonna be a long wait.

I straight up can't stop listening to this since seeing them.

 

On the 3rd they played a 38 song set. Apparently every song they've ever written. That's pretty wild.
