The Room is so great because it's a very genuine attempt to make something serious and good. I think when the maker is in on the joke it immediately becomes less interesting.
just happened to find out that there's one screening of this tonight at 10pm should I try to make it?
Unfortunately not. By the time I finished up at dinner, it was too late to make it to over to the theater. Kinda hoping they do more screenings because watching this at home just doesn't seem as fun.
Saw this (and Tommy) last night. Worth watching for some good laughs. might be somehow worse/harder to sit through than the room.
