Big Sean Postpones Upcoming Tour: 'I Need to Stay Focused in the Studio'

 

He said he’s postponing it because he’s in a groove in the studio.

 

so basically it didn't sell well

 

Hopefully the time since his last album means that he has something great coming. We'll see....

 

I mean he technically has put out an album since then

Remember when he cancelled an entire 30-date headline tour with Playboi Carti because he was "locked in" in the studio but then didn't release anything for 17 months

 

Just because we didn't hear the music doesn't mean he wasn't locked in the studio making music, that's a bit of a ridiculous statement.

 

17 months is a hot minute to not hear anything when his reasoning for cancellation came across as urgent. Idk if it was low ticket sales or what but I'm just salty that since 2018, 3 separate shows with Carti on the bill have all been pulled while I've had tickets lol

 

Yeah, I mean overall you could totally be right, the point I am just trying to make is that artists often spend SO much time in the studio, urgently, stressing, only to scrap albums, never release music, etc etc... it's hard for us to speculate when we actually know nothing about what happened in reality

 

He also took some time away for mental health

 

Sounds like, as of now, he's in a better place mentally and/or otherwise. Good on him for that
