The only thing I imagine I'll ever listen to from this is the Eminem verse, and that's only because I'm morbidly curious

 

Holy shit this is awful

 

I enjoy about 7 songs off this. Though Dark Sky Paradise was a lot better.

 

Ugh I was just subjected to the Eminem verse again fml

 

I mean he has some classic records but I'd never tell someone they HAVE to listen to them lol...

 

After letting it sit, this my favorite album by him.

 

Just finished another listen and this definitely his worst album and one of the worst albums released overall this year so far

 

so some people can't stand it while some people think it's their favorite. I fall right in the middle.

 

Maybe it's because I've never listened to a full Big Sean release before, but I gave this a spin and thought it was a lot better than I expected. "Halfway Off the Balcony" is something else. But yeah, the Em verse is next-level awful and I made my roommate listen to it just to see his reaction lol

 

I like Jump Out the Window, Halfway Off the Balcony, and Voices in my Head/Stick to the Plan. Light and Sacrifices are alright because their features, No Favors is awful because of it's feature (a shame, because it would be one I like without it probably). I really can't fuck with Sunday Morning Jetpack at all.

The rest is w/e.

 

All his albums are whatever but this one is slightly better imo lmao

 

Boy is this not good. Guess Dark Sky Paradise was more aberration than "figuring it out".

 

Listened to this again today and it's somehow worse on second listen, not sure what the positive comments are hearing in this

even just reading those titles, I have no idea how those songs go. Skimming back through right now I am fine with Window and maybe Owe Me, but Stick To The Plan honestly sounds like a parody of himself, when the beat switches up and he starts yelling STICK TO THA PLAN I actually laugh out loud beacuse of how ridiculous and bad it sounds

 

Lmao I think the best switch is fun

 

It's like he's fighting against himself in that song.

 

I just picture some like, youtube video of someone trying to ape Big Sean's style in an over-the-top way, and I can't get that vision out of my head. Also I just think it straight up sounds bad and is hard to listen to

 

Jump Out the Window, Bounce Back, Halfway Off the Balcony, Bigger Than Me

That's pretty much what the album is to me at this point. The rest is throw away tracks

 

It's your favorite but you only like four songs?

 

Yeah he doesn't make good albums just songs. Not a hard concept to understand
