Looks like they had already recorded the whole season with Jenny so now they are transitioning VAs in the second to last episode before bringing Ayo onto the writing staff as well. This should be a fun arc for this show.

Side note: not that this is important in the grand scheme of things, but I wouldn’t hate it if they brought Jenny back eventually for another role.

Very good news. Also yeah I hope Jenny still works on the show in some capacity.

Since this show is about puberty, having a new voice can be addressed that way. Excited to see the new season.

New season was good, wasn’t in to Nick’s arc at the end so the last few episodes kinda dragged on a bit. Really enjoyed the camp stuff and wished the 2 new characters had continued on the rest of the season.

Ran through all of season 4 yesterday and I feel this was 50/50 as a whole. The best bits involved consent, hand stuff, Missy and Matthew's journey, and all the camp episodes. The future and sorority episodes were massive misses for me and felt a little too forced or even a little too "out there" for a show that features dancing and speaking genitalia.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. Eating dinner was the worst choice of setting to watch the poop baby episode. Episode four didn't do much for me. Still have six episodes to go, but I wish they had spent more time at camp.

This season is especially gross and I commend it for that.

so far ive liked everything except the future episode felt a little dark for me, idk if I needed to see all of the characters die violently lol

Four episodes in so far, and I’ve already laughed so hard. I just had a pretty intensive wrist/arm surgery this morning so I’m really glad I saved all of these episodes for my couch time today. Haha.

I admire the audacity of the show to get grosser each season. Episodes 2 and 3 back to back especially really went for coming up with the most outrageous visuals the show has ever done.

As someone that hates feet, Jay sucking Lola's dirty toes was legit the grossest thing the show ever did for me tbh

Connie is easily the funniest character on this show. She already has the best one-liners pretty consistently, but the inflection on the words just kills me.

Almost through this season and I’m liking it as much as the previous ones. This show always pulls me in and makes me realize that I (or one of my friends) went through something very similar and just thought we were weird, awkward and/or the only ones going through those things. There’s always a hidden layer of relatability even when it’s being over-the-top on the outside.

Just finished season four and really enjoyed it. I’m really nostalgic for the first season now so I think it’s time for another rewatch.

I'm in the middle of my rewatch before I watch the new season. I think the songs in this show are really underrated

I'm kinda eh on the new season. The past two seasons haven't hit like the first two. It feels like season three they were trying exceedingly hard to be OTT gross and sacrificed the plot/character development for it. This season was definitely tilted a bit back the other way, which I enjoyed, but the jokes just didn't land as much? It's fine, but hasn't grabbed me like the first two seasons did.

  23. Yeah this season felt a little more meandering and transitional than past seasons. I know it was probably kind of the point because of how much this season focused on anxiety, which is a naturally isolating thing, but it didn't really feel like the characters were working together at all this season until the end. Even Nick and Andrew felt like they were living in two different worlds. And the Jay/Lola stuff did nothing for me outside of a couple of key themes they lightly hit on.

Was surprised at how much they fit into those last two episodes though, and really feel like they set themselves up to have a very fun 5th season. I also really hope Jessi continues therapy and that that wasn’t just a little one off thing to get the toad in there.

I thought this was a real return to form after I didn't like the last season as much as the others, I laughed a ton and I really liked where the story went for the most part. Andrew continued to be a huge asshole in the first half of the season when it really seemed like they were trying to paint Nick as the asshole for some weird reason but other than that I don't really have any complaints. Loved the new additions to the cast, the Gratitoad is gonna be great next season. The transition to Missy's new VA was really well done and not even that noticeable too

My favorite storylines this season were probably Jessi, Missy and Matthew but it was all great. I genuinely did not expect to actually care about these characters when this show first started but I really do

I just said it a few days ago but the songs in this show are really underrated too
