actually it's mostly Alkaline Trio that I hear now that I'm further along. this is fun

 

this singer's voice sometimes reminds of Jeremy Bolm's clean vocals on Stage Four haha

 

I really dig this, I definitely hear the ak3 in it

 

What an great album. Haven't done a deep dive into the lyrics yet but I know they're incredibly personal and open, and a lot of it resonates with me, especially "almost-post-overdose."

Awesome blend of genres too.

Thanks for posting this thread, this album's definitely gonna be top 10 for me.

 

This band needs more hype. Anybody into the Gaslight Anthem, the Menzingers, Spanish Love Songs, Fake Problems, and the like should be enjoying this.

But it manages to sound like those bands without feeling like a carbon-copy. They definitely have their own "thing" going on.
