To me, it looked like Christmas and Paul decided it in the hallway leading to the DR right before Paul voted. It is something Paul mentioned doing on the live feeds, but I thought they decided against it. Maybe we will learn more tonight.
I really think it was just another way to put slightly less blood on his own hands. And it's a bit psychological to make Josh be the person to stand there and say "you are going home"
They discussed it together. I don't remember the actual excuse that Paul gave them but this is pretty much what it boiled down to
I'm constantly in awe of how well Paul has just steamrolled this game. Makes for somewhat of a boring season, but he has been fuckin smart, craft, cut throad and just GOOD at the game
Is it boring? Sure. But is it wildly impressive how this one doing with the biggest target on his back from the get has molded these people into his minions? Hell yeah.
I was shaking my head in awe when Paul pulled ahead in the HOH comp, and Christmas and Kevin got answers wrong... Christmas was silent celebrating, she was SO HAPPY
OK so I see two scenarios if you are Paul, hard to say which is better. Scenario 1: You take Josh and Kevin, because Christmas is your biggest competition and getting rid of her would be your last big move. Risk is that Kevin is not a guarantee to bring you to the end if he wins last challenge. Scenario 2: You take Josh and Christmas, risk some votes going to Christmas, but you almost guarantee that you go to the final 3 if Christmas or Josh win the last competition, because they are minions.
Nah it's just misdirection, this always happens when someone kills it this hard. They'll give it to him for his gameplay in the end, no matter how bitter.
exactly! It happens so much on Survivor that I just have learned that 90% of the time, people get over personal shit when it really comes down to crowning a winner.
So glad to finally see in the jury house last night. Raven is delusional if she thinks they were puppetmasters. Paul's goodbye videos where he is still trying to save face are funny when immediately followed by Josh blowing up his game.
To the people with live feeds, did Paul and Christmas ever hook up or anything? I had absolutely no idea there was any flirtation there due to the edit
Nah. Paul's said a few times he has a girl he's committed to and Christmas just called off her wedding (for personal reasons not because of big brother). She admitted she has a crush on him but nothing's come of it.
Totally forgot there was a clip show episode tonight. That Kevin fight in the backyard was completely "new" and not shown on feeds. Wild. It really connects a lot of dots though. I (and pretty much everyone else watching feeds) honestly thought Paul started the "Kevin's sketchy" crusade just to vilify him because he was well liked by everyone. That actually makes me feel better about rooting for Paul.
That part with Christmas talking to herself in the dark took place in the night she was supposed to get married so that might explain why she was so emotional. Matt and Raven seriously had these food fights/play-arguments every night for like a month and a half. To the point where the camera would actively avoid them. That rat came around a handful of times during the season. Alex never saw it so she was convinced it was an assignment for someone playing as Team America or some other twist. They did really well with that segment.
