I've been sucked into watching this stupid fucking show this season by my family and now I can't stop watching it So consider this a sub I guess
That's how I got into it too. This season isn't great because the cast isn't really there to play very hard but Paul's playing a great (and arguably textbook) game. After the season I'd definitely suggest going back and watching a couple good seasons. I started with 17 which was a decent season to really get interested.
yeah you're right. I was just trying to find a recent season without returners that isn't 16. That was the second season I watched and I don't think I was able to appreciate it enough without much prior experience with the show. I think 17 was a good place to start because there weren't a ton of twists (once they dropped the takeover gimmick) so it was the closest season to a straight up game of Big Brother that they've had in a long time. The cast wasn't as problematic as others so it was easy to pick a side and feel good about who you chose through out the game.
I can't keep up with the feeds so I read Big Brother Network's daily updates. I used to root for Alex but some of the things they have said over the last few days about another houseguest are just awful. Shitty gameplay.
I don't get why they're acting like Jason's move to keep noms the same is a terrible decision. Matt will go home and Raven hasn't done shit all season and she isn't aligned with anyone else.
Jason totally did the right thing, Alex is fucking stupid. The argument of jury votes does NOT work, because Matt goes home in both scenarios!!! Putting up Kevin only gives them a few days of Matt/Raven not being mad, big whoop. IF Jason was smart, he would tell Kevin that Paul and Alex wanted to put him up, then vote out one of them two. Would never happen, but still.
I think it was originally about shocking Raven so she wouldn't perform well in HOH. After a while it just became about power and making Kevin sweat. Jason definitely did the right thing. I feel like they got so used to hating Cody and Jess that when Paul started picking his next target everyone felt like they had to hate them out of habit. That might just be wishful thinking though. This season will definitely go down as one of the worst even if Paul plays it out perfectly. The cast is just awful.
For everyone with All Access who won't be able to watch the episode live tonight because of NFL Preseason For anyone on the West coast who wants to watch the episode live tonight, follow these instructions. Please upvote for visibility! Thx. • r/BigBrother
Among all the other pathetic actions happening this week I gotta say Matt taking the penalty vote because he didn't want to be a have not on his last week is some real pathetic BS.
HGs this season have been outright shitty as people, but the folks not playing the game rules (Cody, Jessica, Matt) can all suck a fuck.
The highs are so high but the lows can be devastating. I told myself so many times during OTT that I wasn't even going to watch anymore haha I probably would have said the same thing 50 times this season if Paul wasn't still in the game.
This season has just been especially bad. The last time the show was this bad was 4 years ago, and that season still had actual gameplay. This cast sucks as people and nobody except Paul is playing the game. OTT was bad, but the season was circumstantial. Honestly, several of those houseguests would probably do very well on a normal season.
