Holy shit, Mickey died yesterday. She had been in the hospital after suffering multiple cardiac arrests, they said complications from the flu, but at the time her family sounded hopeful and that she was recovering. Such sad news.
I fear it was a case of pseudo-stockholm syndrome. It doesn’t help that the house was egging it on the entire time.
Last couple years I'd quit the season pretty early on and just follow live feed updates, half due to real life commitments but also just not being very invested in the casts for whatever reason. Then during the off season I'll re-watch an older season. I am determined to try to watch the episodes this year but I find myself re-watching an older season again, 17 I am quite enjoying this cast so far. I didn't fully watch this season when it was airing -- it's when my little breaks every odd season or so started. Da'vonne can be kinda negative sometimes in the DR sessions but she's definitely very fun to watch and such a smart and perceptive player. I wish she stuck around longer, I feel like if she had better people around her she'd be such a powerhouse
