Big Brother: Over The Top – New Season Starts Sept 28th

Some more info on the online-only season, called "Over the Top"

 

I'm happy that this season has managed to skirt around being 100% boring but I'm so ready for a new season with a new cast. I'm excited to see how it's going to work!

 

That line about viewer influence has me a little nervous though. I think the care packages were a huge dud this year and I would hate to see it brought back. The fact that the houseguests try to plot their moves based on who they think America likes most is really shitty and I think it's one of the main reasons James is so disliked this year.

I remember someone saying something about BBCan letting the viewers decide who is evicted. It would be such a bummer if they tried to pull that for Over The Top.

 

I'm interested and would want to try watching, but I don't know if it's worth it for me at this point. I have rehearsals 4 nights a week and feel like I'd miss a lot.

Michelle is trash. She tells the DR she's going to go down fighting, sleeps all week and doesn't talk to Nicole once, and then talks shit when she leaves.

This article was posted yesterday and today she grabbed the floaty-pelican that Paul wears right before walking out of the house.

Most of the HGs were in the back yard and someone flew a blowup doll with a message written on it over the back yard.

No one could read what the message said and even if they did it was such a bad message they wouldn't have been able to figure it out.

The message said "JUR8 BBS18 #1"

Speculation is the blowup doll is reference to Natalie and the message says "Joker's Update Rate Big Brother Season 18 #1"

Jokers Update is a website that keeps close tabs on live feeds and they also do a daily poll to see who houseguests like the best.

Ultimately it was a total failure all around

 

That is so incredibly stupid, haha

 

Filler episode is filler.

 

So theres no way Victor loses the game at this point, correct?

Michelle is awful, but her observations aren't wrong, she actually hits the nail on the head with everything she says. Nicole and Corey won't beat out Paul and Victor and if Vic gets to the final 2 he's not losing.

 

Id love to see P&V final two.

 

I think I'm the only one in the world who actually liked Michelle. And she's totally right that Nicole literally threw her game away by choosing Vic/Paul over Jatalie. Yeah, she can still win, but the odds of her or Corey winning the F4 HOH is significantly less.


Also Victor won HOH so yeah.


And IIRC there's really no actual evidence that Michelle was stealing and the main "evidence" was a shittily worded timestamp on the livefeed.


And Jokers is pretty awful in their assessments, as is /r/bigbrother (who I've discovered are worse than /r/survivor)

 

I definitely don't think she was actually stealing valuable stuff I just thought it was funny that there was an article about her stealing the day before she steals something on live tv haha.

I definitely despise Michelle though. She was funny when she talked trash but she's a shitty person. (Who insults their mom on live tv?) and an even shittier player. How are you going to sleep all week, actively avoid the HOH, and then talk shit on everyone and play the victim after you get evicted? She definitely made some would-be boring weeks exciting though.

I know Michelle is really active on Big Brother reddit so I can only imagine it's full of shit too haha

What was up with her saying she was related to Dan Gheesling though

 

Apparently someone got pissed at CBS for taking down livestream clips and went to the house and yelled over the wall that James and Nicole had a preseason alliance

 

I've been liking Natalie the last few episodes, but last night really changed that for me.

 

Surely Natalie is playing villain so James stays, right? Otherwise she is not the person I thought she was.

 

I think she's just getting a weird edit so it doesn't look so bad when James stays and maybe teams up with whoever wins HOH next week. She made one comment that I didn't see as malicious, it seemed more like she was disappointed in herself and just her way of accepting defeat. And then the convo with James where she says don't talk to her if he works with Nicole/Corey...idk. I'd be kind of pissed too if that happened and I was in her shoes.
