This doesn’t show a whole lot more of those conversations than what we saw last night, but it certainly gives more examples of Kyle making ignorant/casually racist comments that demonstrate he has a lot to learn.
Looking at the game side of things for a second, I feel like this puts Turner in a really awkward spot now. I assume he probably wound up putting Kyle on the block after Michael inevitably pulled Brittany off, but now where does Turner go? He could trying rejoining the Leftovers, but then he's clearly fifth out of a group of five. If he sticks with the After Party, they're down to three people facing a four person alliance. All of this is having not watch live feeds, so it could be a moot point by now.
Also about a week or two ago I was pretty psyched to have Kyle as a fantasy player. Finally someone who could possibly make a deep run in the game. And then this week happens...
Now this was the good stuff. Really happy to finally see these conversations play out. What a wild week of big brother.
Did anyone else think that, at least the way it was edited, they made Kyle come across as a lot more sympathetic and painted Michael and Brittney more as the bad guys? Kyle said some fucked up shit and deserved to be removed from the game but I genuinely do believe it came from a place of ignorance and not malice or hate, and M/B choosing to use it as a game move really does rub me the wrong way like the other houseguests were saying And man, Monte seems like such a genuinely amazing person. I really hope he wins
Yeah, there wasn't any sort of redemption or further discussion for them. Using it as a game move was shitty but I believe Michael did it knowing Monte would have been the replacement nom and he didn't want it to be Taylor and Monte on the block. Trying to keep all three of his closer people safe - Brittany, Taylor, and Monte. Still not a good time to tell them but they also benefit from it game-wise, kind of an awkward thing. Also I think it's easy in hindsight to say why didn't you share X info right away but I can imagine not knowing how the house would react or if they'd even believe you Monte does seem really great. I'm rooting for Michael (unlikely) with Monte as my second choice
Hope with next week’s double episode we get a lot of jury house content. Want to see how Kyle explains his eviction to those 3.
I feel like Monte and others wanting Michael out because of “what he did to Kyle” kind of validates Michael not immediately telling them when it first happened. Also I really wish they wouldn’t do zings about people’s physical appearance, they feel really lazy and rude
I fucking hate Zingbot every time lol And I am very over Brittney, she seems so smug for someone that is openly playing for second place
She’s like that super annoying aunt in the family. I don’t think I’ve found someone as grating as her in a long time.
Let’s look through Zingbot’s past zings, he’s gotta have said something at some point that we can use to get him canceled so we never have to see him again
I feel like it's kind of the opposite. I feel they're so upset because he waited to use it for a game opportunity. Had Michael divulged the information right away, they wouldn't have had any reason to be upset at him.
I might be inclined to agree with you if we weren’t subject to Jasmine’s over-the-top / put on southern accent most of this season.
I'm very interested in Jury house content. We've seen nothing so far. I'd love to see Joseph's reaction to Kyle walking in to the house.
I feel like Zingbot used to be funny but the past few years have been really lazy. Maybe I am just remembering incorrectly though lol.
The only one that sticks out to me from the history of Zingbot is from BB16 (which I didn't see live because I only got in to the show a few years ago). Cody and Christine had a really close relationship in the house, so Zingbot said, "Cody, you're such a nice guy. You haven't made any enemies this summer...except for maybe...Christine's husband!"
