The problem I had with Bayleigh is that she thought she had everything figured out on her own when she clearly didn't. She had multiple opportunities to listen, take advice, and trust the right people, and she didn't. She's not good at the game. But Christmas still sucks and acted like a child.
The issue isn't that Bayleigh is mad... the issue is that Bayleigh is ALLOWED to be angry at Christmas, Bayleigh is ALLOWED to cry about it, she is ALLOWED to be sad that her game is about to end and she is ALLOWED to be mad at Christmas. When Christmas then turns that around and gets mad AT Bayleigh, for something Christmas did to her. When Christmas is mad at Bayleigh because she isn't... hugging her? Because Bayleigh isn't separating the game from their "friendship" and getting over it. The problem is Christmas getting fucking HEATED and yelling at Da'vonne while she is quitely trying to explain why Bayleigh is rightfully mad. The problem is Christmas making Bayleigh's sadness about her. The problem is Christmas then getting up in Bayleigh's face while Bayleigh is doing nothing to provoke. The problem is Christmas. This fight wasn's actually about the "game," you all should be able to see that
The way the fight was poorly handled was 100% on Christmas. She was gaslighting them by ramping up her own emotions in defense and making their pain of being on the block about her when they 100% are justified in being upset. That said - Bayleigh acting like what she said about Da being her "untouchable" was "personal and not game" is ridiculous. Everything you say in the house about other houseguests is fair game when you're discussing allies, enemies, and targets.
God watching feeds and seeing Day fall off the wall and sit silently crying for like 45 seconds was so sad. Good to know that she's got a new plan and that wasn't completely real
Yeah I was honestly relieved to see that she threw it lol. Felt bad to watch originally. I kind of expected them to show the disruptor power being used tonight...it happened like, an hour after the nominations lol. It’s weird that people won’t know the “real” nominations until Tuesday’s episode.
And even more people than that earlier in the comp. I remember Memphis saying he just wanted to avoid being a Have Not and Da'Vonne said she didn't want it either I think. Seems like everyone just feels so comfortable with everyone else because most of them are in alliances with most people in the house. What a mess of a season.
Nobody wants to make any moves, they all want to make it a few more weeks then start actually playing the game.
It's crazy how some seasons are the most exciting television you've ever seen and others are like watching paint dry
It sucks because this week is probably the first actual interesting week of gameplay and I’m still super unhappy with the result/who is probably going home. I hope things change before Thursday is all I’ll say lol.
I'm watching Season 4 now and everyone is unlikeable, the noms/evictions are predictable, there's very little drama. I blew threw Season 14 in like 5 days, but even having Season 4 on the background while working, it's a chore to get through.
memphis managing to keep a target off his back after forcing everyone to play the safety sweet is beyond me. I feel that in past seasons that open level of manipulation would've put anyone up on the block. Also, Bay and Day being assumed to be a pair even before Bayleigh's disclosure that Day was her untouchable smacked racism to me.. especially since no one is extending the same assumption to the bro-dude duo of Memphis and Cody which should be equally as obvious. If anything this is a perfect lil microcosm of race relations irl.
haven't been following super close so I guess I assumed Day would do what Dani wants and Dani wouldn't wanna get anymore blood on her hand so things would stay the same. Cool!
To your first point, I don’t think anyone in the house actually likes Memphis lol. They all find him kind of annoying and he complains constantly about little things. They’re keeping him around because literally anyone would beat him in the final 2.
It's very telling that Dani's biggest problem decisions noms is that she's running out of "easy" people to put up. Also hilarious she thinks it's too early for big moves... Ok girl, it's been like... Over a month. Boring ass gameplay
Just a heads up in case other people didn't realize (like myself), the next episode is actually tonight. I guess there's an awards show on CBS tomorrow night so it's Tuesday/Thursday this week.
Literally no one would use that power except on themself lol. Because if someone else used it, they could be put right up in their place.
Use the veto. Dani will get more blood on her hands. She'll be the target next week. Kevin and Day aren't any worse off than they were before.
