Dan's funeral was obviously an amazing play, but that was just one of like 5 moves he made that kept him in the game when any other player in his position would have been evicted. The fact that Danielle still voted for him to win the game, is a true testament to his ability to manipulate people in the house. Plus Danielle was the most naive person ever.
The early seasons are weird. I guess it was a different time, and lots of stuff from 15-20 years hasn't gonna aged well, but there's so much misogony, body shaming, homophobia, etc. it's kinda hard to watch.
I definitely agree with all of this. The one thing that I wish didn't change though was the shift to people freaking out if the evictions votes weren't unanimous. I feel like the voting used to be way closer than it is now but I'm not sure at what point there was a change. I guess there are just way too many large alliances forming these days.
Sorry for the triple post but Scott must have been livid watching David bang his ex on national TV immediately after getting kicked out of the house lol edit: okay, sorry... instead of continuing to flood with posts, I'll just edit here... JOSH WAS IN PLAYGIRL?!?!?!
I think the “shift” to that style of play is considered to have started around s16, when Derrick basically won the whole game by manipulating the house into doing it every week.
Kind of big spoilers for the remainder of the week below, but some important stuff happened. I'm not really sure if they'll get into any of this on the show, so unless you're up to date, I'd avoid this post until after the eviction this week. I'm still catching up with all of this as well, and have seen only a little bit of the feeds for, so some details may be slightly off Tyler attempted to self evict through getting backdoored. Christmas was going to do it, but production convinced him to stay in the game. Tyler doesn't want to be there anymore and acknowledged that Bay, Day, and David were all there for a bigger purpose. There was a massive fight between the noms and Christmas this morning that got pretty ugly and Christmas looks REALLY BAD coming out of it. I think this will be covered on the episode as it seems like a massive event for the season.
I’m very interested in what production actually shows, because they actually seem to be trying to hide a lot of the details on the live feeds.
God I stop paying attention for 3 days and of course that's when the only exciting events of the season take place lol
I want drama, but not this kind of drama.... That was a depressing episode, I feel bad for Da, Bay, Tyler, NOT DANI, Ian... It was all sad to see.
Is the spoiler good to look at now, or after tonight's episode? Dani is the worst. She was accusing them of doing exactly what she has been doing, ratting people out to both sides of the house. I'm curious how many people know that Tyler volunteered to go up and that Christmas said no.
There’s still a pretty big part of it that hasn’t been shown that might show up on tonight’s episode, since it took place after the veto was not used.
Man, I thought maybe with this year being all stars we’d get a group of people who have at least been through this before and know how to avoid gross behavior. I was wrong!
