The art is definitely terrible but for some reason I feel like Big Boi is one of the few that can actually pull it off. Really excited for this, and also gonna use its release as an excuse to finally go back and listen to all the Outkast albums again. It's been probably over two years since I heard any in full
Yeah, there's a couple standouts, but mostly forgettable stuff. Feel like he stretched himself too thin between this and Big Grams.
I think the album art is a good representation of the record. He didn't put a lot of time and effort into it.
Just noticed he has that terrible Cosby line and a song produced by Dr. Luke. Super disappointing. Think I'm done with Big Boi.
This is the weakest of his three solo albums but I still really enjoy a lot of songs on it. Nothing Outkast-related can ever go wrong for me really
Was gonna listen until this shit, enough great rap records lately that I don't need a Cosby apologist in my life
Yeah I haven't really gone back to it much outside of a few songs. Definitely his weakest album unfortunately
How Big Boi’s ‘All Night’ Became 2018’s Most Improbable Hit – Rolling Stone "Big Boi plans to re-release Boomiverse with a few new songs, including another collaboration with Dr. Luke"
I'll say it again: Fuck Big Boi. He's working with Dr. Luke and releasing an album with harasser L.A. Reid.
He doesn't work with Reid anymore, but that's only because Reid doesn't work for a label anymore. But yes, I agree with your statements.
