Heck yeah. If this continues a pattern of how much I enjoy each album then I'm in for a treat. It goes: Puzzle - It's good. (I started with Only Revelations and went back from there; mostly just to Puzzle) Only Revelation - Love it. Opposites - Love It and then some. Ellipsis - It was ok. Balance, Not Symmetry - Loved it. Celebrations of Endings - It was ok / I should probably give it another few listens still. A new album - by this logic I should love it!
Details showed up on NZ Apple Music and popped up on Reddit this afternoon, they're gone now though! @Supernova Check out their first three!!!
Infinity Land and Vertigo of Bliss are unmatched for me, but Opposites is literally 20 back to back bangers, and criminally underrated.
In terms of natural progression I’ve always found it weird that Blackened Sky was the first album. It feels like it should be Vertigo, Infinity, Blackened Sky, Puzzle..
I've totally listened to them before. Went on a Biff kick when I discovered them back in 2013/14. I listened to Vertigo & and Infinity a few times but Blackened maybe once if at all fully. Some cool stuff on those. It's just been so long and don't have much of a desire to go back. I don't think I ever listened to those bsides which I want to do one day.
New song is very good. I've been listening to Celebration of Endings a lot recently too, which I don't think I gave enough listens when it first came out. Its great!
Wait it feels like they just released their latest album yesterday, so this announcement came out as a sweet surprise to me.
How did I not know they had a new album coming out? I thought the last couple songs were just B-Sides or part of a companion EP to Celebration of Endings or something. Pumped.
With Quicksand, then Thrice and now this coming out with two killer singles so far, I don't know what I did the please the Post-Hardcore gods.
The videos made the songs even better. This is shaping up to be a great album, the last one was about 50/50 for me. (Tiny indoor fireworks is top tier biffy though)
