Phantom Brickworks is easily his best work. I might be biased because I am obsessed with ambient music but I'm looking forward to this.

yup i dig. tbh every artist ive heard from Warp in the past year i have fallen deep in love with

Not at all! Every record is honestly so different that he's impossible to pin down, his discography gives me whiplash but it's almost always incredible

 

oh nice! if it was, that wasn't a negative. I'm gonna throw on the 'essentials' playlist on AM and see what's out there.

 

yeah okay I just went from an acoustic song to a straight up dance track. hell yeah.

 

If you are looking for ambient, Phantom Brickworks is absolutely mesmerizing.

Patchouli May is just gorgeous, this is his most cohesive album in years

This album is still in my top 5 for 2019

 

This surprises me as I didn't feel this was that amazing. To me when he released Phantom Brickworks I felt there is no way he could ever top that. That album is incredible.

 

This record does such a consistent job of evoking a mood or feeling from me every time I put it on. When comparing it to other releases this year on this point alone, very few releases come close.

Someone up above put it really nicely by saying that when I put this on, there are moments where it feels like you're floating.

 

Plus, that album cover is just effing cool.
