What does "spontaneous" or "punk" mean in this context?

Nothing on here was as gut wrenching as "Blue" or "Heaven" and nothing was as sexy as "rocket" or "partition." the self titled is one of the best records of the last 16 years so it's not even remotely a knock on this one.


I'm not really about arguing minute differences in qualities of these records, just more of an off the cuff response to someone (maybe dustin) saying this is her best.

Yup was me and everything you're saying is entirely valid. And I agree with your reasoning as well, just prefer this album (so far) which is the beauty of music and of Beyoncé that we can have 2 damn near perfect albums to enjoy

 

Yeah you can't go wrong with her last two albums both are incredible

 

It's crazy how much has changed from self titled to lemonade - the former was a sexy love letter to her marriage and husband and lemonade has visuals of Yonce throwing her wedding ring to the ground

Just listened. That's an album to listen multiple times and unpack. Wow. The songs with Kendrick and Abel were stunning. Formation at the end was straight fire.
