After two full listens to the album, Daddy Lessons is still my favorite song. When I signed up for my free trial of Tidal Yesterday, I never expected to the new Beyonce album to be up the next day. I only signed up for the Prince discography. I was more than happy to check out the middle of his career, but this makes the decision even better. This has the chance of being my favorite album of the year.
100%, was so enraptured with the song and visuals I didn't even catch it. With the strings here there are some mad 70s vibes in the best way.
tbf a slight step back from self-titled is still an incredible work only thing keeping me from hearing this is SNL doing a Prince tribute show
I mean, you're wrong. I'm only half kidding. I listened to this and thought about halfway through "Yup, This is all I'm listening to for a week." It's a lot more spontaneous than Beyoncé, more punk than thick R&B.
Beyoncé is going to make Tidal the new HBOGo; one person is going to pay and 50 other college students are going to mooch the account.
