Contractual obligation with Tidal maybe. But regardless now that I'm actually watching/listening I don't think it's a split.
Most people are now thinking it's about Matthew Knowles which makes sense. Love Drought and Sandcastles are a major punch to the gut.
Drums sound fantastic on "Don't Hurt Yourself". I enjoyed the first two songs a lot but this is a jam.
I feel like it's premature to say this is the best Beyonce album but at the same time...how could it not be?! I really don't know. This is amazing.
I remember when her album dropped a couple years ago with all the videos and thinking "Damn, I'm watching the new Beyonce album". I really dig the cross-medium work she's doing, and this is a marked step up from her last album both visually and musically (and I loved that album and its videos). I appreciate that a hell of a lot.
