The moment those first few notes of 4 rang out like some perfect lost Prince B-side it became pretty clear to me that I'm probably not ever going to have a different favorite Beyoncé song.
Crazy In Love is arguably the most iconic pop song of the new millennium. I legitimately love every album she's done, but self-titled may just have to be my favorite. So excited I finally get to see her on Cinco de Mayo.
Apparently the Beyhive is buzzing (get it?????) about today being 4/4 and Bey being tied to the number 4, that an album could drop. I still think that any album release would be on a Friday, but who knows. Either way, her tour starts the 27th and I would be absolutely surprised if there is no album out before then
4 will always have a special place in my heart because I was at the Roseland show where she played it in full
I love 4, but..... I never listen to Run The World. I really think it's a jarring ending that doesn't fit the rest of the album. Otherwise, I think it's her best tied with s/t. I don't know which one would edge the other out for me
With Drake (supposedly) coming on the 29th, I would say that neither party would want to battle each other, and that this album is coming the 8th, 15th or 22nd Just a guess
I think B'Day is her best album, with 4 a close second. I'm in complete agreement with Steve about Run the World, makes absolutely no sense on that album.
Lemonade premieres on HBO next Saturday at 9 Eastern. EDIT: Sony UK said it's the title of her next single.
