I can't say this on Twitter cause I'm afraid of the Beyhive lol but I didn't care for this one too much :/ felt more like a song made for the moment than anything else. B did such a good job of fusing the personal and political on Lemonade while making bangers all at once, and maybe I expected too much from a one-off single, but it just didn't have the depth I would've hoped for. Especially cause I don't really trust any other pop stars to make a song for this moment.
Black is King is one of those pieces of art that's simply unbelievable. I can't actually fathom the amount of time and money that was spent to create this, it's so extremely detailed and every shot is beautiful. Truly mind-blowing. I didn't really follow the story, but it's amazing to watch.
